In 1999 I was determined to change the community where I was raised and realized that in order to change the community of Compton, Ca I had to reach the people. Then created a nonprofit organization The Community Financial Advisors where my vision was to build and grow a stronger community one household at a time.

In 2006 I partnered with One United Bank to take my mission and vision to the communities of Los Angeles.  Firmly believing that giving a man a fish would feed him for the day but teaching a man to fish would feed him for a life time.

In 2007, I became a certified Millionaire in Training Speaker: The purpose is to teach people financial skills and good habits that will lead them to financial success. The program created by George Thompson has since evolved into a national program and attracts audiences of all ages and diverse backgrounds.

I’ve learned that most tax payers will wait until Jan 1st to think about their tax return.  My goal is to help my clients prepare throughout the year instead of waiting until last minute.  This blog was created to assist tax payers understand their personal income taxes in simple terms and tax plan throughout the year.  If you are in need of tax advice I can be reached office: 310-319-5353, cell: 310-283-3767 or dunk126@sbcglobal.net.  I’ll take the time to ask the right questions and find all the deductions and credits you deserve, no matter what your occupation.
